There were several new ideas that I came across in the past two weeks (meaning to say many new ideas and opportunities abound to be discovered  every day)

1. There were several TV shows that show how to create new and interesting designs on old and unusable perhaps junk items:    container vans (luma na ito)  trailers, junk helicopters, school buses;   Through the efforts of the designers and architects, they come out with unique and outstanding design

2 Grab express This take the place of courier service.  They are able to deliver on the same day at MM, at 1/2 of the price of the regular courier.   Those who join the service earn P1,000 minimum (those who have MC) for whole days work

This is a blessing for many start ups who can distribute their produce without breaking their bank accounts.  Delivery on the same day.  The pizza delivery may even call this app if they run short of delivery men

3,   Angkas.  This is legal compared to habal -  habal. Those who wish to beat the traffic can angkas  an MC and arrive at the destination early without spending say P35,000 on a helicopter ride.

Could drones be the future of courier and transportation business?

What lies ahead for the drones, now that military drone strikes, especially those that kill civilians would be considered illegal? (war crimes?)

Some alternatives would be to use them for journalism as in U of Nebraska, where they are made as cheap alternatives for covering disaster:  forest fires, train wrecks, aftermath of typhoon, etc.

Now it would seem here in this CNN article/post, that drones could be effective means of courier service and transportation in far flung, no accesss to transportation areas/
