Below is my NU6 idea.

Chlorine Solution/Tablets

Having a clean drinking water is everyone’s concern. Water pollution has contributed to the deteriorating quality of our potable water supply that many people have resorted to buying purified or distilled water to avoid contaminated water. Supply of clean drinking water becomes a huge problem during times of calamities. Many families now a day’s buy purified water from the different water refilling stations even if they get water supply from well established water concessionaires like Maynilad, Manila Water Co. and other water companies. Cost of purified drinking water is around P25 to P50 per 5 gallons depending on the water refilling station. You can opt to buy from the water refilling stations or ask them to deliver to your home. A typical family usually consumes an average of four bottles of 5 gallons container per week costing from P400 to P800 month.

        Boiling, distillation, purification and treating water with chlorine are the current means to come up with clean water. According to the website of Center for Disease Control and Prevention, contaminated water from different sources such as lakes and deep wells can make people sick. Germs can also contaminate water from established water companies as it travels through miles of piping to get to a community. To prevent this, water companies either use chlorine or monochloramine as water disinfectants to kill germs.

It would be very helpful to come to come up with a chlorine solution/tablet  for home use which can be mixed with house water (deep well or from water companies) to make it potable. The chlorine solution is the same thing used by water companies to treat water that is safe and effective. With the chlorine solution, people are protected from water borne organisms and can save significant amount of money from buying distilled or purified water. Also, the chlorine solution can also treat the water from water companies whose pipes are contaminated.  The consumers can also enjoy the convenience of the chlorine solution where they can prepare wherever they are anytime they need clean water. Also, consumers do not need to be inconvenienced with going to water refilling stores to buy purified water or you can avoid the hassle of the delivery people going inside your home when you have your purified water delivered. This chlorine solution/tablet for home use can be sold in sari-sari stores, minimarts, supermarkets, convenience stores etc for better access. If processed efficiently, the cost of the chlorine solution/tablet can be significantly lower than buying purified water and can provide substantial savings for the consumers. This chlorine solution/tablet would really help me and millions of Filipino have convenient  access to clean potable water at a lower cost. 3

Competition in the Taxi Transport in the Philippines is getting fiercer everyday with a lot of fly by night taxi services being offered, and i thought that its high time that a taxi service differentiate it self buy bringing ads to its customers, to make it sound better, customers will be given information about the city or events that will happen in a week or new restaurants that are opening and other stuff. With the advent of electronics getting cheaper and cheaper everyday, taxi companies will be able to equip their cars with tablets and bring value to their customers

The tablet will open a whole new world for operators especially here in Iloilo where the city is slowly becoming a commercial hum for Western Visayas but for Visayas as a whole. 

Tablets will be able to do the following

1. keep customers informed of the route so as to minimise confusion

2. inform customers with events in Iloilo through ads, and by doing so generating additional income for the operator

3. give customers a chance to relax despite being in a traffic situation, as the City of Iloilo continues to grow, the traffic problem needs to be solve and this can be a solution for the customers of the Taxi Company

a tablet can be had for about 5,000 pesos and cheaper ones are also available. If a Taxi Company will be contracting an advertising venture with a certain business for a very low price of P70 per ad, per day, the tablet will be paid for in less than 3 months, Plus with the options of tracking your route, customers will more than likely prefer having that rather than non, even if you dont need it

With more to offer and having the same fare rates, the Taxi Co will be able to attract more customers and bring in more profits by differentiating with very minimal 4
