NU 6 – 3 School ID with SMS Monitoring

Safety is what every parent is praying and hoping for every time their child or children leaves the house for school. They do not have an idea if their child or children were able to reach their school, mobile phones are mostly prohibited in schools especially for elementary and high school students since this is a cause of distraction.
Security is also one of the concerns of the bank when it comes to their customers. Some Bank which offers credit cards have this technology wherein when you use them and made a successful transaction, the cardholder will be notified thru SMS that a particular transaction has been successfully made if that is you did not make that transaction you must call the bank in order for them to make actions. This feature is to add security and protection to cardholders, to prevent and eliminate the chances of fraud and hacking.
Sample SMS from the Maybank:
"Thank you for using your Maybank Credit Card ending 4444 for P5, 000.00 at DADS, KAMAYAN, SAISAKI, GLO3 PH 04/02/14 20:00. For Inquiries, please call 588-3888."
Thinking of applying this technology in schools (target will be kindergarten to high school), where in once the student enter and exit the premises of the school and swipe their ID, a SMS will notify the registered number of their parents informing them of the time they have arrive and leave the institution. With this feature, parents will somehow have their peace of mind because they can monitor their child or children in and out of the campus.  4
Sample SMS from the School:
"Rophele Louie C. Ocampo has entered Ateneo De Manila University at 7:08am."
