MEMORY CARDS (AGAIN) FOR PLAYSTATION 3 and 4?
I've been an avid video gamer since my childhood; from Atari, Family Computer, Sega Megadrive 2, Playstation (or PS1), PS2, and PS3.  One innovative feature that made the PlayStation so successful is the emergence of their memory cards (for PS1 and PS2).  Earlier gaming consoles (the likes of Nintendo's FamiCom and Sega's Megadrive 2), memory cards do not exist that you will have to play the game up to the ending continuously without turning off the console (or you will lose your progress and have to start from the opening again) as you are not capable of saving your game from where you last left off; with the memory cards, PS gamers can play a part of the game, save it, then play again some other time without the need to restart the game from the very beginning.  Aside from the save feature, it also enables PS gamers to play with another PS console (like your friend's or relative's); which is lacking in PS3.  With _S3, games are saved online and in your own game console's internal memory; meaning, if you want to play your game's progress in a friend's house, you have to bring your whole console.   PS3 also have this "i-Cloud" type of server (Save Cloud I think?) which enables gamers to save their games online and access it also online.  However, not everyone has an internet.  Survey says more than half of the PS3 gamers does not have or use the internet in their games.  My point is, it's not about the innovation since they have brought the use of memory cards in gaming, I just wanted that "innovation" to be revived with the later units (PS3 and PS4) for convenience. 3
