NU 6 Topic # 3  : New  Seminar Module – Losing Problematic Employee
By : Joevic C.Pasit – AGSB –REGIS ILOILO CLASS

Most seminars  now employed by those on the training and motivation business  are  purely for staff motivation and employee engagement. This is now a growing business especially in a very competitive market.
Big companies are investing on the training and development of the skills of their staff as well as the their managers. They are doing this to prepare and ensure that their staff are ready for competition not only on the product they are selling but also invest on people development.
Francis Kong for example is getting more popular in giving lectures on how to motivate employee as well as sales person which help in the increase of sales of the company.
Aside from Francis Kong there are other competing companies in this business but the focus is mor on the improvement of skills as well as motivate people. There are also who offer topic on how to handle difficult people and employee.
While the companies need this kind of training to their staff, however it sometimes very difficult to terminate or loss staff that are considered as problematic and  as an additional load to the burden or challenges that the company is facing. These employees  are considered as liability or just an additional cost that need to be cut.
Losing these staff is a challenge for the management and it sometimes took long time following the process which also involved legal aspect.
With the new idea, we plan to organize trainers’ who will use modules that will train managers and supervisors    to develop skills and technique on how to talk to problematic employees. The skills that will be developed  will be gestures ,facial expressions ,choices of strongly  worded statements  that will intimidate the person and will just think of giving up .
The trainers’ that will be chosen for the  program would be those managers that has experienced and has an image of having frequent turnover of their staff. 3,5
