NU 6 by Arlene Panganiban AGSB Clark - Improvement of Polygraph Machine

I had a big amount of jewelry stolen by my maids last year that i have to send them to Crame for the lie detector machine. I was so trauma because the trust was lost and of course the amount of the jewelry. In short after all the investigations of my personnel aside from the police station we have come to a conclusion who took it. The polygraph test was just suppose to confirm or support the investigation. No one saw the the act of stealing or no jewelry was found from any one from them 3 suspects. I was very hopeful for the results of the lie detector machine so they all have to go to Manila and of course pay the test. In short the test results was just about the procedure and the reactions of the suspects. They told my staff who they thought it was who took it but nothing in the result paper will show even in percentage who they thought did the crime. So the lie detector did not even scare someone to admission, because. nothing happened. Right now its use in not admisssable in court.
I put this as my NU 6 because if someone can even imporove it, invent it to even conclude 90% accurate. It can be very helpful even in hiring people for employment Aside from the police, a handy or handheld polygraph machine can be used in HR department to aid in screening important positions The US gov't has been using a handheld one but not on their citizens but in their interrogations in different countries. The operator has a lot to do with the way the results come out.Training is very important and again at the moment a trained operator can only wish for an admission. But since it only measures respiratory rate, blood pressure, pulse rate and skin sweats, the results can not say the the person is telling a lie.It has been invented in 1921 and a handheld version in 2003. But up to now results are not conclusive.3
