We all aspire to be the best in everything we do, be noticed in our respective work place, circle of friends, family or even here in AGSB as we strive our very best to compete /complete and earn our MBA to be more competitive in this ever changing work environment.
We meet all kinds of personalities, different folks different strokes would be needed to blend and to meet each and everybody's expectations. We meticulously work on a particular tasks, responsibilities or deadlines individually or as a group for compliance and to the satisfaction of our superiors, boss, professors & in-laws. In the corporate world, nobody is indispensable, we work our butts and guts until the last drop of our blood and sweat, until we get old and get ill. The moment we reach the point in our lives that we can no longer work and be productive and earn profitably for the company, they will simply find and get better replacements. Pay-off our separation pays or benefits and we're all part of the employment archives.
In one of our special report Business & The Bible Gio mentioned that "God commands us to use our talents towards productive ends. The parable emphasizes the need to work and creativity as opposed to idleness." But at the end of the day what does it boil down to…? Relation, everything that we do, it's all about keeping a good relation with our peers, colleagues, families, friends, professors and of course to our Almighty Creator. Matthew 16:26 – "For what profit has a man, if he gains the whole world and losses his life?"
Life is short, don't work too hard, work smart and remember to build and keep a good lasting relationship. Who knows, one might need other's expertise in times of danger and opportunities. Enjoy life to the fullest!
