Voyager I leaves solar system and goes into inter stellar orbit

Repost from the Guardian | September 12, 2013

Voyager which left the earth some 36 years ago has left the solar system and gone into intrastellar orbit.  It has travelled  11,625 miles over that period and its speed is 11 miles per second.  Its memory is 240,000x less than an iPhone.  It is the first spacecraft that has left the solar orbit.

The vehicle will keep contact with the earth until 2025.  It contains many artifacts for the l970s like pictures of personalities during that time, songs.

Scientists are odds as to whether the Voyager 1, the size of small car has actually left the solar system.  Some say that the particles from the solar system, the heliosphere indicate that it may no longer be within the the solar system

If you rather would like to leave home and be at University Belt to finish your MD or law degree, this is the place to be
