What pisses you off at the school What must be done?

I don't think I'll be the first one to say this but the school system  really pisses me off for this 1 reason.  Online enrollment and the instability of their system to support the huge amount of traffic of students.  Students trying to enroll for just 1 day, else the slots would either be filled immediately, leaving you either with either odd classes or an odd schedule, which, for people mixing school with work, is very inconvenient at times and if you enroll and unable to pay the same day, your slots get forfeited.  So why take more than an hour just to enroll? When your paying 12 thousand pesos per subject plus fees that should be able to cater all students enrolling at the same time? The reason is simple, the school  does not invest in its IT systems given that it would just be 3 days in a month where you would need a better performance or a better network to support your students. I believe they'd rather roll with it instead of putting in the appropriate resources with regard to money, manpower and IT infrastructure.  

What can be done? Simple. Invest in your IT systems or revert to manual enrollment if you cannot promise a stable online enrollment system.  If I were a student, I'd rather go to school and enroll manually, first come first serve, old school style, instead of at home, clicking refresh until the systems are up which based on the last enrollment, took almost half a day.  Just looking at it, opportunity cost comes in play, instead of people focusing on what they can be productive with with half their day whether it be work or business or personal, they spent it just waiting online for enrollment.  So give them an alternative, enrolling manually.  This would be much cheaper than investing in IT infrastructure but would give you better results, you can even set up a hotline where students can call and enroll their subjects.  You just need to boost your manpower for 3 days in a year.  Ateneo as a school is a brand in itself, and to be honest, enrollment is a pain point for students which by wor of mouth can easily sway students who wish to enter MBA.  So its either you fix/upgrade the system, or give students an alternative.
